This is for every woman who hates their stomach

Have you ever heard of the VBO (Visible belly outline) you know, the shape that a nice rounded belly makes in clothes? Yes, I said NICE rounded belly

Plus-size women are always told what to wear to hide their VBO. We are always been given rules that urge us to hide our "flaws." The supposed flaw that seems to be universally accepted as needing to be hidden is a tummy. Considering all of the shape wear designed to make our midsections as tiny as possible, "control top" pantyhose, and clothing that flare below the ribs, marketed toward plus women, the message that round stomachs are not cute comes through loud and clear. This was also a trap I fell into I hid myself under baggy jeans, long sleeves and old over sized dresses for so long but not anymore. Never again!!! I decided I couldn't let myself miss out on any opportunities to wear things that I loved. Knowing you look hot and not caring about what others think of the way your stomach looks in clothes is the most flattering thing I can think of.

Here’s the thing about me I'm pretty cool with rocking a swim suit, wearing shorts and tight dresses are a no big thing anymore for me However, a lot of people still get hung up on flaunting that one part of their body that often gets left out of the equation “Round tummy” Look It's cool to show off big boobs, round butts, and curvy hips — but social medias reaction to anything less than a flat stomach is enough to make anyone hate their belly or body as a whole. The looks, comments & shaming one receives when wearing anything tight that reveals your VBO are terrible. is it really a bad thing to have a big belly?! Not at all I have fallen in love with my belly, a big belly is just not that big of a deal. It doesn’t define who I am. It’s not so big and horrible that it cancels the rest of me, my body and my soul. It’s a part of me and I love me.
